Love this family owned spot. The service is great and they are friendly. Good burgers, fries, and milk shakes. They now serve breakfast. We love coming here when we visit South Lake Tahoe.
Tried again on this recent trip. Ordered a hot fudge sundae with Swirl (vanilla/chocolate) ice cream for $7.95. Got only vanilla ice cream but at least the quality was better and I requested no nuts and there were no nuts! Keep working on getting it right Sno-Flake!
The food is awesome but the ice cream and milkshakes are the best. Some people say that the food takes to long or the workers are rude but that is not true because the food comes out faster then they do getting their buts out of bed. There might not be a lot of parking but when you walk outside it is super nice. And a lot of people go to Sno-flake. I recommend going there for a sweet treat.
Nothing special technically but place is just a mood! The perfect quick visit for a summer Tahoe trip. Parking can get sparse due to all the other businesses around but just come during off-peak hours between your Tahoe adventurers.
I had the veggie burger with onion rings and it was amazing! The kids had ice cream/soft serve and it was great. It's a bit overpriced but it's a treat while on vacation so I wasn't too worried. The employees were extremely friendly. I saw them interacting with a rude patron and the employees were fantastic.
Sno-Flake Drive- In has been a favorite for locals and visitors since 1961. The Drive-In was bustling on a beautiful day, it took about 15 minutes to place our order. The soft serve was delicious, we will be back to taste some more of the menu items. People were enjoying their burgers and ice cream on the deck. A bit of nostalgia on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe.
The BEST shakes in town. They can mix flavors, do chocolate or vanilla base. Open all year round, but winter time hours vary. They offer food too. People here are nice.
